Pioneer Valley Economic Recovery and Strategic Planning

Funded as part of the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) CARES Act, Cambridge Econometrics is leading a regional economic recovery and strategic planning project for the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) in Western Mass.

Working with a task force of regional economic development leaders, Cambridge Econometrics is applying its Local Economy Futures Model (LEFM) to conduct scenario planning and assess the economic impacts of external trends such as remote work and the transition to clean energy, as well as regionally-driven initiatives for a more inclusive economy and innovation-led economic growth.

Cambridge Econometrics will be developing regional economic strategies and offering candid assessments of the capacity and resources needed to implement and sustain new initiatives.
